About Me

If you were to ask my colleagues what three traits have gotten me to where I am, they might say it is my professionalism, my enthusiasm, and my knowledge.

If you were to ask me, I would say it’s my passion, determination, and sense of adventure.

  • Passion for learning, passion for success, passion for creating, passion for making a positive impact on the world.
  • Determination to see things through, overcome obstacles, and to do what it takes to do a great job.
  • Sense of adventure that gave me the courage to quit a full-time job in project management to pursue filmmaking.

These all influence not just my successes within my career, but how I’ve lived my life. I love to travel and live through experience, trying new things and broadening my understanding of the world. I love to create, through painting, drawing, and playing music. I believe in the strength of human connection, community, and justice.

In college, I was awarded the Best of Tech award, which recognized me as the top performer in my graduating class within the Video and Radio Production program.

I have been working in the camera department since 2010, joining the International Cinematographers guild in 2015. My experience spans across all forms of video production, from corporate videos and commercials to major studio feature films; over 140 projects across 7 states, with crews ranging from 2 people to over 200.

I have been asked to speak as a panelist at the Women in Film and Video New England’s “Women in the Industry” as well as the Rhode Island Film Collaborative’s “Women in Film and Media” symposium.

While much of my success stems from my work ethic and my attitude, the role that my mentors have played has been vital. I believe strongly in giving back and sharing my knowledge with those who are just starting out. I always appreciate the opportunity to teach, whether it’s by speaking at events, mentorship, or simply taking the extra few minutes to explain to a younger colleague what task I’m currently doing and why.
